Word to PDF Converter
Choose a .docx file and get a PDF back. The conversion runs inside your browser, so the document never leaves your computer. Text, headings, bold and italic, lists, tables, colours and pictures are carried over. It is a simple, private converter, not a copy of Microsoft Word, so complex layouts can look different.

How to use the Word to PDF
- Drop your .docx file on the box or click to choose it.
- Wait a moment while the file is read. The page count and any warnings appear.
- Click “Convert to PDF”, then download the file.
- Open the PDF and check it, especially if your document has unusual fonts or a complex layout.
Tips for better results
- Need the exact look of the original? Use “Save as” or “Export” inside Word or LibreOffice instead. They use the real fonts and layout engine, which no browser tool can match.
- If a table or picture looks wrong, simplify it in Word first: set the picture to “In line with text” and avoid text boxes.
- Only the text and pictures in the main body are converted. Check headers, footers and footnotes in the result.
Limitations you should know about
- Only .docx files (Word 2007 and newer). Old .doc files and password-protected files are not supported: save the file as .docx first.
- Text is limited to the Latin alphabet (English, French, German, Spanish and similar). Urdu, Arabic, Hindi, Chinese and other scripts cannot be written, and unsupported characters become “?”. A warning tells you how many.
- The PDF uses the standard PDF fonts (Helvetica, Times, Courier), so your document’s own fonts are replaced by the nearest match and line breaks can move.
- Headers, footers, footnotes, text boxes, equations, columns and tracked-change marks are not reproduced. Pictures are limited to JPEG, PNG, GIF and BMP.
- Up to 25 MB and 1,500 pages. The result was tested against independent PDF tools, not against every PDF viewer.
Frequently asked questions
Is my document uploaded?
No. The file is read and converted in your browser. Nothing is sent to our server.
Why does my PDF look different from Word?
This tool draws the PDF itself with standard fonts, while Word uses your installed fonts and its own layout engine. Line breaks, spacing and complex objects can differ.
Can it convert Urdu or Arabic documents?
No. Only Latin-alphabet text is supported. For other scripts, use Word’s own “Save as PDF”.
Can I convert .doc files?
Not directly. Open the .doc file in Word or LibreOffice, save it as .docx, and use that file here.
